Nigerian youngster Ebuka Okeke has officially reunited with Czech top-flight side FC Hradec Králové after successfully overcoming a prolonged visa process that kept him away from the club for months.
The former Nigeria U-20 invitee endured a challenging and uncertain period as efforts to secure his return visa to Czechia dragged on.
The delay temporarily stalled his development and disrupted his European campaign, but the talented striker remained steadfast in belief and determination.
With his documentation finally cleared and travel completed, Okeke has now returned to the Czech Republic, ready to resume training and competitive action with renewed focus and ambition.

Speaking after receiving his visa approval, Okeke expressed deep relief and gratitude.
“I feel so happy and relieved,” he said. “It was not an easy period for me.
“There were moments of doubt, but I kept believing everything would work out. Returning to Hradec Králové means everything to me. I’m ready to give my best and make up for lost time.”
The striker, a product of Lagos-based Emiloju FC, has long been regarded as one of the academy’s brightest exports. His development at the grassroots level paved the way for his breakthrough move to Europe.
Following confirmation of the visa approval, Emiloju FC President Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao described the development as a major milestone not only for Okeke but also for Nigerian grassroots football.
“We are extremely happy for Ebuka,” Alao said. “He has shown great character and maturity throughout this difficult period.
At Emiloju FC, we teach discipline, patience, and perseverance, and Ebuka has demonstrated all these qualities. We believe this is just the beginning of greater achievements for him in Europe.”
Alhaji Alao also used the opportunity to appreciate the management of Collins Edwins FC and G12 for their unwavering support toward Ebuka during the prolonged visa battle.
He acknowledged their encouragement and solidarity, noting that such collaboration within the football community played a vital role in keeping the player motivated during the difficult months.
“We sincerely thank the management of Collins Edwins FC and G12 for standing by Ebuka throughout the long visa process. Their support meant a lot to him and to us as a club. This shows the strength of unity in football development,” he added.
The Emiloju FC president assured that the academy would continue to monitor and support Okeke as he settles back into life in Europe and works to reclaim his place in the squad.
With the visa hurdle finally behind him, Okeke’s return marks the beginning of a fresh chapter one defined by resilience, faith, and renewed determination to succeed on the European stage.
