Bature FC, clad in white and green, responded with determination.

After a series of free kicks and attacking moves from both sides, Bature found their breakthrough in the 35th minute, leveling the score at 1-1.

The equalizer came after sustained pressure that saw the Tetrem goalkeeper previously make a crucial save to deny Bature in the 27th minute.

Both teams continued to create chances before halftime, with New Tetrem earning several free kicks and a corner late in the first half.

However, neither side could add to the scoreline, and the teams went into the break locked at 1-1.

The second half resumed with New Tetrem again on the front foot.

They won multiple set pieces, including corners in the 49th and 50th minutes, and continued to threaten from free kicks.

Their persistence paid off in the 68th minute when New Tetrem restored their lead, making it 2-1.

Just two minutes later, they nearly extended their advantage but were denied by the crossbar in a dramatic moment that left fans on edge.

After a cooling break in the 75th minute, Bature regrouped and pushed forward in search of another equalizer.

Their efforts were rewarded in the 83rd minute when they struck again to level the game at 2-2, completing their second comeback of the match.

Late drama unfolded in the 87th minute when New Tetrem were awarded a penalty, presenting a golden opportunity to secure all three points.

However, the chance went begging as the penalty was missed, keeping the scoreline unchanged.

Bature earned a late corner in the 90th minute but could not capitalize, and the referee’s final whistle confirmed a pulsating 2-2 draw.

Both sides will take positives from the encounter in what was a spirited and competitive display under the Ashanti Regional Football Association.
