Super Eagles centre-back Olisa Ndah has completed a move to Libyan club Al Shomooa on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old defender parted ways with South African giants Orlando Pirates last month after both parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
The Buccaneers had earlier confirmed that Ndah requested the termination after slipping down the pecking order at the club.
Ndah has now put pen to paper on a one-and-a-half-year deal with Al Shomooa, marking a new chapter in his professional career.
The Nigerian defender joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 from former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Akwa United, where his commanding performances earned him a move abroad.
During his time in South Africa, Ndah established himself as one of the league’s standout defenders, winning praise for his composure, strength, and consistency at the back.
His impressive club form also earned him international recognition.
Ndah was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and has made four appearances for the Super Eagles.
With his move to Libya, Ndah will be hoping to revive his career and reassert himself as a key defensive option, both at club level and on the international stage.
