NBBF President Musa Kida Praises Super Eagles Following AFCON Bronze Triumph

‎The president of the Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) Engineer Musa Kida has commended the Super Eagles of Nigeria for their resilience, consistency, and passion in their quest for victory, after the Super Eagles clinched the bronze medal in the just concluded Total Energies African Cup Of Nations in Morocco. The Eagles defeated the Pharaohs of Egypt via penalty shootouts after a hard earned goalless score in regulation time.

‎Musa, who is also the chairman of the Nigerian National petroleum company, limited spoke with the media just after the victory noted

‎ that the bronze medal and victory were timely.

‎” I was particularly excited that the clean record of not losing a third place match in the history of the Afcon by the Eagles was secured.

‎Despite the disappointment of losing in the semi-final against the host country Morocco, the players gave their all in making sure they returned home with the bronze medal.”

‎He also resonated his commitment to supporting football, which happens to be Nigeria’ number one sport in all endeavours.

‎Football unites the nation, and it is important we all rally round to help in developing and sustaining the unity and happiness it brings to Nigerians , he concluded.
