AFCON:All Sports Supporters’ Club Backs Super Eagles For Historic Win Over Morocco

The All Sports Supporters’ Club of Nigeria has expressed unwavering confidence that the Super Eagles will secure victory in tonight’s blockbuster AFCON 2025 semi-final encounter against hosts Morocco.
The highly anticipated clash is scheduled for 9:00pm Nigerian time, with emotions running high among Nigerian supporters both at home and in Morocco, where thousands have gathered to cheer the national team.
Leading the Nigerian supporters’ contingent on Moroccan soil, the Deputy National President of the All Sports Supporters’ Club, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, said the Super Eagles possess the quality, mental strength, and unity required to overcome the challenge of facing the host nation.
Speaking ahead of the crucial tie, Alhaji Alao commended the team’s discipline, tactical improvement, and fighting spirit displayed throughout the tournament, describing them as key factors that would determine the outcome of the semi-final.
“We have absolute belief in this Super Eagles team,” Alhaji Alao said. “From the group stage till now, they have shown character, unity, and a strong winning mentality. Playing against the host country is never easy, but our players are mentally prepared and focused on the task ahead.”
He urged Nigerians to remain confident, stressing that the players are fully aware of the magnitude of the occasion and are determined to rise to it.
Alhaji Alao also emphasized the vital role of the supporters, noting that the massive presence and vocal backing of Nigerian fans in Morocco would further inspire the players on the pitch.
“As supporters, our responsibility is to stand firmly behind the team. We are here in large numbers, singing and cheering to remind the players that the entire nation is solidly behind them,” he added.
“With God on our side and the hard work the team has put in, we are confident that the Super Eagles will make it to the final.”
As the countdown to kickoff continues, the All Sports Supporters’ Club has called on Nigerians across the world to unite in prayer and steadfast support, expressing hope that the Super Eagles will once again make the nation proud by securing a place in the AFCON 2025 final.
