Premium Boiz delivered a commanding performance as they thrashed Brilliant FC 3–0 in the opening game of Matchday 7 at the Hammola Football Championship, turning a cagey first half into a ruthless second-half display.

The encounter began with Brilliant FC showing early intent. In the 13th minute, Adegoke Yakubu whipped in a teasing cross toward Ibrahim, but the forward failed to make proper contact, miskicking what could have been a promising chance. Two minutes later, Kehinde tried his luck from long range, unleashing a 25-yard effort that sailed high over the crossbar.

Premium Boiz gradually settled into the game and began to apply pressure. In the 35th minute, they earned two dangerous free kicks in quick succession close to the Brilliant FC penalty area. The first attempt was skied, while the second struck the defensive wall and was eventually cleared, as Brilliant FC survived a nervy spell.

Despite moments of promise from both sides, neither team managed to find the breakthrough before the interval, and the first half ended goalless.

The second half opened with renewed intensity. Brilliant FC almost took the lead in the 61st minute when Adegoke showcased fine technique, chesting the ball mid-air, spinning sharply, and firing a left-footed shot that narrowly missed the target.

That miss would soon prove costly. In the 67th minute, Premium Boiz finally broke the deadlock. Rasaq Kasali stepped up to take a free kick from about 25 yards on the right side of the goal area. He struck the ball with venom, and despite a defender managing to get his head to it, the sheer power of the shot ensured it crossed the line for a stunning opener.

Momentum firmly swung in favor of Premium Boiz, and they doubled their advantage in the 75th minute. A moment of hesitation between the Brilliant FC goalkeeper and his defender allowed Abiodun Azeez to pounce on a loose ball, calmly slotting it home to make it 2–0.

Brilliant FC had a golden opportunity to pull one back just two minutes later. Nurudeen produced a brilliant solo effort, dribbling past a defender and rounding the goalkeeper. With the goal at his mercy, he astonishingly skied his finish, squandering what was arguably the clearest chance of the match for his side.

Premium Boiz continued to press for more goals. In the 83rd minute, Bamidele Asimiyu delivered a low square pass from the right to Bashit Shittu, who shot from close range, only for a defender to make a crucial clearance. A minute later, Asimiyu tried his luck himself, beating the goalkeeper, but his effort drifted inches wide of the post.

The pressure eventually paid off in the 86th minute when Brilliant FC conceded a penalty. Bashit Shittu stepped up confidently and calmly placed the ball into the bottom left corner, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way and sealing a reflection of their second-half dominance and clinical finishing.
