Victory Queens FA To Participate In LaLiga EA Next Gen Draft In Lagos

Victory Queens Football Academy have been confirmed as one of the participating teams in the highly anticipated LaLiga EA Next Gen Draft, set to take place in Lagos, Nigeria, from January 30 to February 1.
The elite grassroots football event, jointly organized by LaLiga and EA Sports, will be staged at the iconic Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Lagos, in collaboration with the Nationwide League One (NLO) and the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA).
Victory Queens FA will compete alongside other top youth academies from across the country, as young talents vie for selection in a tournament designed to open doors to international football opportunities.
Reacting to the academy’s participation, Victory Queens FA Director Coach, Jaiyaola Damilare, described the selection as a major milestone for the team and a reward for years of hard work.
“This opportunity means a lot to Victory Queens FA. It validates the effort we have put into grassroots development and player discipline over the years.
The LaLiga EA Next Gen Draft offers our players a rare platform to express themselves, learn, and dream bigger.
”We are proud to be part of a project that prioritizes youth development and global exposure,” Jaiyaola said.
Launched in 2024, the LaLiga EA Next Gen Draft is a global initiative aimed at identifying, educating and developing young football talent from different parts of the world.
The program blends EA Sports’ innovation with LaLiga’s elite football expertise, creating opportunities that inspire young players while promoting strong community values through football.
Through this initiative, football events are organized across multiple territories worldwide to discover outstanding players who will emerge from the drafts and progress through the program.
Outstanding players selected from the Lagos draft will enjoy an unforgettable 10-day, all-expenses-paid trip to Spain, where they will experience life within the LaLiga and EA Sports ecosystem, train in top-class facilities, and gain first-hand exposure to European football culture.
As Lagos prepares to host one of the most exciting youth football events of the year, Victory Queens FA will be eager to leave a lasting impression and demonstrate their commitment to excellence on and off the pitch.
