‎Bendel Insurance continued their impressive form in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Kwara United at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Saturday, extending their unbeaten run to seven matches.

‎The Benin Arsenal came out firing from the opening whistle, dictating the tempo and pinning Kwara United deep inside their own half with sustained pressure.

‎Their early dominance eventually paid dividends in the 19th minute when Emmanuel Akpan showed great composure to fire home from inside the box, giving the hosts a deserved lead.

‎Buoyed by the opener, Kennedy Boboye’s men maintained control of proceedings, moving the ball with confidence and limiting Kwara United’s attacking threat.

‎Their persistence was rewarded again just before halftime, as Kayode Oke doubled Insurance’s advantage three minutes before the break to cap a dominant first-half display.

‎The second half saw Bendel Insurance manage the game efficiently, denying Kwara United any clear route back into the contest while preserving their two-goal cushion until the final whistle.

‎The victory lifts Bendel Insurance to 8th place on the NPFL standings, underlining their steady climb up the table in recent weeks. Despite the setback, Kwara United remain 9th on the log.

‎The remaining fixtures of Matchday 20 in the Nigeria Premier Football League will be concluded on Sunday.
