‎Nigeria’s Super Eagles have arrived in Fes, Morocco, as preparations intensify ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

‎Head coach Éric Chelle and his squad touched down in the Moroccan city on Thursday night, marking the next phase of their build-up to the continental showpiece. The team had earlier spent five days in Cairo, Egypt, where they held a closed training camp to fine-tune tactics and fitness.

‎During their stay in Cairo, the three-time African champions tested their readiness in a pre-AFCON friendly against the Pharaohs of Egypt. The encounter, played at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday, ended in a 2-1 defeat for the Super Eagles but provided valuable insights for the coaching crew.

‎With their base now set in Fes, the Super Eagles are expected to step up preparations from Friday as focus shifts fully to competitive action.

‎Nigeria will begin their AFCON 2025 campaign next Tuesday with an opening group match against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania, as they target a strong start in their quest for continental glory.
