Emiloju FC Wraps Up 2025 With Prayer, Thanksgiving And Trophy-Filled Campaign

Emiloju Football Club of Lagos has officially brought its 2025 football activities to a close in a spirit of gratitude, reflection and renewed hope, as the club rounded off the year with a special prayer and thanksgiving session.
The well-attended gathering was led by the club’s Chairman and Founder, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, who expressed profound appreciation to Almighty God for a successful, progressive and fulfilling football season.
Alhaji Alao acknowledged God’s guidance, protection and blessings throughout the year, noting that 2025 was a landmark season for the club, marked by notable growth, consistency and competitive success both on and off the pitch.

Speaking during the session, the Chairman commended the club’s technical crew for their dedication, discipline and unity, stressing that teamwork and commitment were major factors behind the club’s impressive performances throughout the year.
He also applauded the players for their hard work, cooperation and strict adherence to instructions, urging them to remain focused, disciplined and determined as they prepare for even greater challenges ahead

The 2025 season proved highly rewarding for Emiloju FC, as the club recorded significant achievements across various competitions:
🏆 Champions of the Showtime Cup
🏆 Winners of the Joe Aribo Cup
🥉 Finished 3rd place at the highly competitive Discovery Cup
These accomplishments further underlined the club’s steady rise, ambition and growing reputation within the grassroots football scene.
On the field, Emiloju FC concluded the year in impressive fashion, finishing unbeaten in their final five matches.
The team recorded draws against Willyjoe U-17 Football Academy and Best Talent FC, while securing convincing victories over Hot Eaglets Football Academy, Sporting Lagos Academy and Austenplus FC.
These results highlighted the club’s resilience, tactical discipline and competitive edge as the season drew to a close.
Following the conclusion of activities, players and officials have now departed for the Christmas and New Year break, providing time to rest, reflect and recharge.
The club has confirmed that training and football activities will resume in January, as preparations begin for the 2026 season with renewed ambition, higher expectations and a strong desire to build on the successes recorded in 2025.
With strong leadership, unity within the squad and a trophy-filled campaign behind them, Emiloju FC enters the new year confident, motivated and determined to reach even greater heights.
