‎The young talents of Emiloju FC have earned praise for their impressive performances at the ongoing Unique FA International Scouting Program which took place in Ibadan, Oyo State.

‎The four-day scouting event, which commenced on Monday, has attracted the attention of several European football directors and agents. Among the delegation are four international directors, including two from Kosovo, one from India, and Portuguese football agent Diego Martins, who is leading the scouting team.

‎According to the organizers, the primary goal of the program is to identify, assess, and nurture promising African footballers who possess the potential to play professionally in Europe. Players who stand out during the trials will be offered the opportunity to undergo trials and development programs abroad, creating a pathway for international exposure and career advancement.

‎Emiloju FC, one of the participating teams, impressed both fans and scouts with their spirited display throughout the event. They played to a 1–1 draw against Unique Football Academy in their opening match before bouncing back to claim a 1–0 victory over Uchercaria FC from Abia State.

‎Observers described Emiloju’s performances as disciplined, organized, and technically sound qualities that caught the eye of the foreign scouts and officials.

‎Speaking after the matches, the UK-based organizer, Alhaji Abdul Jeleel, alongside the chief scouts, commended the Emiloju FC boys for their determination, skill, and teamwork. He noted that programs like this are designed to bridge the gap between African grassroots football and global opportunities, stressing that young Nigerian players have what it takes to thrive internationally if given the right exposure.

‎In his remarks, Emiloju FC Chairman, Alhaji Jimoh Musiliu Alao, expressed immense pride in his team’s showing at the scouting event. He described the players’ performance as a reflection of the club’s steady growth, discipline, and commitment to nurturing grassroots talent.

‎“Our boys have made us proud. They played with heart, courage, and discipline qualities we emphasize at Emiloju FC,” said Alhaji Alao.

‎“This scouting program is more than just a competition; it’s a gateway for our players to showcase their talent to the world. I’m grateful to the organizers for providing this platform and to our technical crew for preparing the boys so well.”

‎He further emphasized that Emiloju FC’s mission goes beyond winning matches it’s about empowering young people through football, creating opportunities for education, exposure, and professional growth.

‎“We believe that with dedication, teamwork, and faith, these boys can make a name for themselves and for Nigeria on the global stage. This is just the beginning,” he added.

‎Alhaji Alao also lauded the Unique FA organizers for their professionalism and commitment to youth development, describing the event as a model for talent discovery in Africa.

‎The Unique FA International Scouting Program continues to make waves as one of the most credible grassroots-to-global initiatives in Nigerian football, giving young players a direct link to European clubs.

‎With scouts, coaches, and football agents keeping a keen eye on performances, many expect that several standout players including some from Emiloju FC will soon be invited for international trials.

‎For Emiloju FC, the experience has already strengthened the club’s reputation as a hub of emerging talent and reaffirmed its vision of producing players capable of competing on the world stage.
