South African Premier Division side TS Galaxy have officially unveiled Super Eagles goalkeeper Kayode Bankole as their latest signing.
Bankole, 21, joined The Rockets on a free transfer, penning a two-year contract with the Mpumalanga-based club.
The talented shot-stopper recently parted ways with Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Remo Stars following the expiration of his contract in the summer.
Having spent five successful years with Remo Stars, Bankole earned recognition for his agility, consistency, and commanding presence between the sticks — qualities that also earned him a call-up to the Nigerian national team.
His move to TS Galaxy marks another chapter in his promising career and makes him the second Nigerian goalkeeper currently playing in the South African top flight, after Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United.
Founded in 2015, TS Galaxy play their home matches at the Mbombela Stadium and have continued to strengthen their squad as they aim to compete among South Africa’s elite clubs this season.
