Ondo FA Moves To Sanction Illegal Football Activities In The State

The Ondo State Football Association has warned competition organisers, clubs and football promoters to desist from inviting clubs not registered in the state without the knowledge of the association or the respective local football councils.
The association had noted with dismay the flagrant abuse of process of organising competitions and friendly matches by some clubs and administrators who ought to know the process better.
Ondo State FA will henceforth after this statement enforce necessary sanctions in tandem with the statutes, the extant laws of Nigeria Football Federation and FIFA.
All administrators, football clubs and the local football councils should see this statement as as a friendly reminder of their roles and functions respectively and not bring disrepute to the game of football in the state.
