Bayelsa Queens Football Club have completed the loan signing of Imo Striker Queens’ prolific forward, Chidi Harmony, ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership season.
The talented youngster was officially unveiled on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the club’s house in Yenagoa, in a brief ceremony attended by club officials and media representatives.
Chidi Harmony, widely regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Nigerian women’s football, played a key role in Imo Striker Queens’ success in recent seasons. Her pace, finishing ability, and sharp instincts in front of goal have drawn attention from football pundits and scouts around the world.
At just 15 years old, Harmony made headlines after emerging as the top scorer in the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup African Qualifiers, netting 12 goals, including two hat-tricks.
She also achieved the remarkable feat of scoring in every match of the qualifiers—an achievement that underlined her consistency and natural goal-scoring talent.
Bayelsa Queens, the reigning NWFL Premiership champions, believe Harmony’s arrival will further strengthen their attacking options as they look to defend their league title and compete strongly in continental campaigns.
