Ondo State Football All Stars Association Commends ODSFA Chairman, Divine Ogbonnaya

The Ondo State chapter of the All Stars Association of Nigeria has applauded the Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Divine Ogbonnaya, for his leadership style and commitment to football development in the state.
This commendation was contained in a statement issued in Akure by the President of the Association, Hon. Adebayo Abayomi (NFA) and made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the association, Mr Oluwafemi Filegbe
According to the statement, the agency under Ogbonnaya has continued to engage and employ genuine members of the Association—most of whom are ex-footballers—while also giving consistent support to the activities of the body.
It would be recalled that Ogbonnaya was recently inaugurated as a Patron of the Association during a well-attended ceremony.
The President also appreciated the support of the Chairman for the moral and financial support before and during the National All Stars Veterans Tournament holding in Lagos
Abayomi further lauded the reforms introduced by the ODSFA Chairman, urging detractors to support his vision and drive to reposition football in the state.
“The man(Ogbonnaya) is just starting, but he has started well. He is identifying vital areas, blocking loopholes in the agency, and engaging more of our members, who are former footballers, to develop grassroots football,” he said.
He also congratulated Ogbonnaya on the recent promotion of Sunshine Queens to the Nigeria Women’s Premier League, while urging continuous preparation ahead of the competition.
The association praised the level of preparedness of Sunshine Stars ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign, encouraging all stakeholders to remain united and focused on the promotion objective.
