La Planet Defender Makes Golden Eaglets Squad For WAFU-B Tournament In Cote’Divoire

La Planet FC versatile defender, Abdullateef Lasisi, has been listed as part of Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets squad for the WAFU-B U17 Boys Tournament ,holding in Côte d’Ivoire.
Lasisi, a solid and excellent defender, joins the rest of the players for the journey to Ivory Coast, with the team expected to jet out of Nigeria on Wednesday.
The Golden Eaglets,under the tutelage of Head Coach Manu Garba had a very robust and impressive preparation in Abuja, where they won 10 out of their friendly games, drew two and lost one. The team scored 25 goals and conceded five.
The Eaglets are drawn in Group B alongside Benin Republic and Burkina Faso, and the Nigerian boys will face the Beninnese on the 24th of September before taking on the Burkinabès.
Head Coach of La Planet FC, Sheriff Jimoh, said: “We would like to send our best wishes to Abdullateef as he represents Nigeria in the WAFU-B U17 Boys tournament. He’s an outstanding talent, and our prayer is that the team succeeds in the outing.”
Abdullateef has now joined the ranks of La Planet products who have donned the national team jerseys and has also represented the country in various tournaments.
