NYG Asaba 2025: Ademola Daini Satisfied with Team Osun Performance, Says There would be Improvement Subsequently.

The General Manager of Osun State Sports Council, Mr Ademola Daini has expressed satisfaction at the performance of Osun athletes so far at the ongoing National Youth Games, Asaba 2025.

 

Mr Daini disclosed this in Asaba, Delta State while fielding questions from journalists on the performance of Osun State at the games.

 

The General Manager who assumed office on July 5 this year was full of praise for Osun athletes and coaches for making the state proud on the National stage.

 

” This National Youth Games, Asaba 2025 is my first assignment as the General Manager of Osun State Sports Council and I am elated at our performance so far. We have won 24 Medals so far with 4 of them been Gold Medals, 4 Silvers and 16 Bronze Medals.”

 

” Our athletes have not only made the state proud but also etched their names in the history books. ”

 

” Yes, we have won medals but we are still expecting more because we are still competing in more games and we are already in the semi finals of the female basketball. ”

 

” Our coaches have demonstrated and shown that they are exceptional in their respective fields. We are so proud of our coaches.”

 

” We have performed well this year and we hope subsequent years would be better than this because the Osun State Government under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke and his deputy, who also doubles as the Commissioner of Sports have priotized sports facilities and excellent welfare packages for athletes and coaches.” Said Mr Daini.

 

The General Manager also took time out to thank Governor Ademola Adeleke, Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi and chairman House Committee on Sports, Hon. Abiola Awoyeye for their unwavering support, encouragement and for also making sure that Osun State participate in this year’s edition of National Youth Games, Asaba 2025 despite financial constraints in the state.
