Super Eagles Boosted By Lookman And Dessers’ Arrival In Uyo Camp ‎

‎The Super Eagles’ preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda have received a significant boost with the arrival of Ademola Lookman and Cyriel Dessers at the team’s camp in Uyo.

‎The two players have joined their teammates at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene, bringing the total number of players in camp to 17.

‎Despite the boost, six key players are still expected to join the camp. They include:

‎- Victor Osimhen: The Galatasaray striker, who scored a hat-trick against Antalyaspor recently, is yet to arrive in camp.

‎- Tolu Arokodare: The Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder is expected to join the team soon.

‎- Christantus Uche: The Crystal Palace midfielder is still awaited in camp.

‎- Raphael Onyedika: The Club Brugge midfielder is yet to report to the team.

‎The Super Eagles began their preparations for the game on Tuesday, with head coach Eric Chelle overseeing the training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

‎The team will have another training session later tonight at the main bowl of the stadium.

‎The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday, September 6, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

‎The team will then travel to Bloemfontein to face South Africa in a pivotal match on September 9.
