NWFL:Naija Ratels Appoint Sabo Okala Awala As New Technical Adviser

Nigeria Women Football League Premiership side, Naija Ratels, have confirmed the appointment of Coach Sabo Okala Awala as the club’s new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Awala replaces Coach Samson Keshi, who departed after guiding the team to a 6th-place finish at the Super 6 Championship held in Ikenne, Ogun State, at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Speaking at his unveiling on Wednesday in Abuja, Awala expressed gratitude to the club’s management for entrusting him with the role, while assuring fans of improved performances and a push for the league title.
“I’m very grateful to the management for appointing me as Technical Adviser of this great club. We are going to put in everything humanly and technically possible to achieve a lot this season, and hopefully, we are aiming for the league title,” he said.
The Ratels will be looking to build on last season’s foundation as they begin preparations for the new campaign.
