Asisat Oshoala Makes Historic Move To Al-Hilal

Nigerian football sensation Asisat Oshoala has sealed a two-year deal with Saudi Women’s Premier League side Al-Hilal, marking a new chapter in her illustrious career.
The 30-year-old Super Falcons striker joins Al-Hilal from Bay FC, a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club, where she scored seven goals in 38 appearances.
Before joining Bay FC in February 2024, Oshoala played for Barcelona Ladies, where she won numerous titles, including five Liga F titles and two UEFA Women’s Champions League trophies.
Her impressive performance at Barcelona earned her multiple Ballon d’Or nominations. Oshoala’s career has also taken her to top clubs in England, China, and Nigeria, showcasing her versatility and skill.
Oshoala’s arrival at Al-Hilal is expected to strengthen the team’s attacking options, bolstering their title ambitions.
She joins fellow Super Falcons teammates Francisca Ordega and Ashleigh Plumptre, who play for Al-Ittihad, further solidifying Nigeria’s presence in Saudi women’s football.
