The Female Football Academics Proprietors of Nigeria, led by President Jaiyeola Damilare, has extended warm congratulations to Super Falcons trio Demehin Oluwatosin, Ijamilusi Folashade, and Oladipo Shukura for their outstanding performance in the WAFCON 2024 tournament in Morocco.
The trio played pivotal roles in helping Nigeria secure its 10th WAFCON title.
Interestingly, all three players have a connection to the WAFA league, organized by Female Football Academics Proprietors, which aims to promote grassroots female football in Lagos and Ogun states.
Demehin Oluwatosin previously played for Victory Queens, Ijamilusi Folashade for Springsoca Academy, and Oladipo Shukura for Heroes Queens.
The players have gone on to successful careers, with Demehin Oluwatosin currently playing for Galatasaray FC in Turkey, Ijamilusi Folashade for Liaoning Baiye FC in China, and Oladipo Shukura for As Roma Feminine FC in Italy.
The Female Football Academics Proprietors expressed delight in the trio’s superlative displays in Morocco, which made the WAFA league proud.
They commended the players for their exceptional performance and contribution to Nigeria’s WAFCON victory.
