Wilfred Ndidi Set To Join Besiktas In €9.5m Deal ‎

‎Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is poised to join Turkish Super Lig champions Besiktas after agreeing to a three-year contract with the club.

‎Besiktas and Leicester City have reached an agreement for Ndidi’s transfer, with the Turkish side set to pay €9.5 million for the player.

‎Ndidi will undergo a routine medical examination in Istanbul on Thursday as part of the transfer process.

‎After clearing the medical, he will sign a three-year contract with Besiktas, with an option for a fourth year.

‎The 28-year-old midfielder has given his approval for the move, opting to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s project in Turkey over other European clubs.

‎Spanish club Valencia made a late bid to hijack Besiktas’ deal for Ndidi, but Leicester City rejected their offer, sticking to the existing agreement with Besiktas.

‎This move marks a new chapter for Ndidi, who has spent seven years at Leicester City, making over 300 appearances for the club.

‎Ndidi will join other Nigerian players currently plying their trade in Turkey, including:

‎Paul Onuachu of Trabzonspor,Genclerbirligi’s Henry Onyekuru and Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray
