NNL:Abakaliki FC Announces Retained Players For New Season

Abakaliki FC has announced the retention of 27 players for the upcoming 2025-26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The players, who were part of the team in the previous season, will resume training on Thursday, August 7, to prepare for the new season.
The retained players are :

9. Ugwu Emeka

13. Chukwu Onoche
14. Eni Daniel
15. Wisdom Ifeanyi
16. Aloo Friday
17. Emeka Soronnadi
18. Nwafor Chigozie
19. Onyia Henry
20. Igwe Pius
21. Okoro Chukwudi

The players will report for training on August 7 to begin preparations for the upcoming season.
Abakaliki FC has been admitted back to the NNL after acquiring the promotion slot of Hammola FC. Despite being relegated to the third-tier league at the end of the 2024-25 NNL season, the team is looking to make a strong comeback in the new season.
