‎The Nigerian Eagles have emerged champions of the B16 category at the Gothia Cup, defeating Maryland Bobcats FC from the USA with a convincing 3-0 win.

‎The team’s dominant performance was led by standout player Shamsu Mustapha, who scored two goals in the first half.

‎Mustapha’s first goal came in the 9th minute, giving Nigerian Eagles a dream start. The team continued to dominate play, and before halftime, Mustapha doubled the lead with his second goal.

‎The Nigerian Eagles maintained control in the second half, with Mubarak Adisa sealing the victory with a 3-0 goal in the 40th minute.

‎Shamsu Mustapha, who was named MVP of the team, expressed his joy and gratitude after the match. “I’m so happy right now.

‎I’ve prayed for this for a long time, and to see it come true means everything,” he said. “This is a big dream, and I’m so grateful to experience it,” he added, surrounded by his cheering teammates.
