‎The technical study group (TSG) of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations has included Super Falcons duo Ashleigh Plumptre and Rasheedat Ajibade in the group stage Best X1.

‎This recognition highlights their outstanding performances in the tournament.

‎Plumptre has featured in two games, showcasing her composure and defensive solidity on the left flank.

‎Her impressive display has earned her a spot in the Best X1.

‎Ajibade has made three appearances, providing driving runs and technical finesse that links midfield and attack with ease. Her creative contribution has been instrumental in Nigeria’s performance.

‎Desiree Ellis, coach of Banyana Banyana (South Africa), has been named the best coach of the group stage.
