Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has revealed his love for a classic Nigerian dish.
According to him, his favourite meal is pounded yam and okro soup.
The 27-year-old defender, who joined Chelsea from Fulham in 2024, has established himself as one of the top defenders in Enzo Maresca’s team.
In a video posted on X, Adarabioyo was asked about his favourite dish and smiled before responding: “Pounded yam and okro soup.”
The defender’s love for Nigerian cuisine is evident, and it’s no surprise given his Nigerian heritage.
Adarabioyo remains eligible to play for either Nigeria or England, having featured for England at various youth levels, including U16, U17, U18, and U19.
Born in London to Nigerian parents, the defender’s international future is still uncertain.
Adarabioyo’s recent performance helped Chelsea beat Fluminense FC 2-0 in the FIFA Club World semifinal. The team now awaits the winner of the semifinal game between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
