The Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Bauchi State, Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin, has charged Wikki Tourists FC to go all out for victory in their final and decisive game of the ongoing NNL Super 8 Playoff in Asaba, Delta State.

The Commissioner made this call during a visit to the team at their hotel lodge, expressing dissatisfaction with the team’s performance so far.

Hon. Gabarin reminded the players that the hopes of Bauchi people rest on their shoulders and urged them to raise their game to fight for the much-desired NPFL promotion ticket.

He emphasized the importance of securing a win in the final game to bring glory to the state.

Earlier, Club Chairman Engr. Auwal Gotal acknowledged that the team arrived Asaba in high spirits but admitted that the two consecutive draws have changed the mood.

However, he expressed confidence that a win in the final match will restore hope and bring joy to the fans.

On behalf of the players and technical crew, Coach Abdu Maikaba apologized for the underwhelming results and assured that all hands will be on deck to secure a crucial win in the last group match against Yobe Desert Stars on Thursday, July 10th, 2025.

Wikki Tourists currently sit 3rd in Group A with 2 points from two matches, and a win is essential to keep their promotion hopes alive.
