WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons Ready To Make A Statement-Ajibade

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has declared her team’s readiness to win the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title.
The nine-time champions are drawn in Group B with Tunisia, Botswana, and Algeria, and will take on Tunisia in their opening fixture at the Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
“We’ll demonstrate what we’re capable of and continue to build on our existing strengths. We have an incredible group of talented players,” Ajibade told CAFonline.
“We’re all excited to be here. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re committed to showing up as our best selves.”
The Super Falcons will face Tunisia on Sunday at 5 pm Nigerian time. With their rich history and experience, the team is determined to make a statement and go all the way in the tournament.
