Nigerian Clubs To Receive $100,000 From CAF For Inter-Club Competitions

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Nigerian clubs participating in the CAF inter-club competitions will receive a support fee of $100,000 each.

 

The clubs include Remo Stars, Rivers United, Abia Warriors, and Kwara United.

-CAF Champions League:Remo Stars (NPFL champions) and Rivers United (NPFL runners-up)

 

– CAF Confederation Cup: Abia Warriors (NPFL third-place finishers) and Kwara United (President’s Federation Cup champions)

 

 

The participation fees for the upcoming campaign have been increased from $50,000 to $100,000. This move aims to support the clubs in their preparations for the competitions.

 

 

The new season is set to begin in September, with the first round of matches scheduled for the weekend of September 19th to 21st.
