Chelsea has reached a £50m deal with Brighton to sign Brazilian forward Joao Pedro.
The player will join the Chelsea squad at the Club World Cup after completing his medical and signing his contract.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Pedro will travel on Tuesday to join Chelsea ahead of the Club World Cup.
The player will sign a contract until 2032.
Chelsea beat off competition from Premier League rivals Newcastle United to land Pedro this summer. The player reportedly only wanted to join Chelsea despite Newcastle’s efforts.
Pedro will join Chelsea’s squad, which recently thrashed Benfica 4-1 in their Round of 16 clash. Chelsea will take on Palmeiras in the quarter-final.
