Arsenal Nears Deal With Valencia Defender Christian Mosquera

Arsenal has agreed on personal terms with Valencia defender Christian Mosquera, paving the way for a potential transfer this summer.
The Gunners had an initial offer of around €14m rejected, but are working on a new proposal.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Valencia is open to a deal worth over €20m.
Talks are currently underway, with Arsenal hopeful of securing Mosquera’s signature.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta sees Mosquera as a backup to the team’s first-choice center-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
The addition of Mosquera would provide depth and competition to Arsenal’s defense.
