Plateau United has announced the appointment of Oluwasola Adegun as their new head coach and Gideon Izang as their new sporting director.
The appointments take immediate effect.
Adegun joins Plateau United from Nigeria National League side Sporting Lagos, where he previously served as head coach.
Izang’s experience will be invaluable as sporting director, and together, the duo is expected to drive the club’s success.
Plateau United is reportedly in talks with Kabiru Dogo to join the club as a technical adviser.
This move signals the club’s commitment to strengthening its technical team.
The Plateau State government, the club’s owner, has resolved to reposition Plateau United towards a more professional and goal-driven football institution.
After finishing seventh in the NPFL last season, the club is looking to improve its performance.
