Former Coach Tips Super Falcons To Regain WAFCON Title

Former Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, is confident that the team will win the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title.
The nine-time champions are among the 12 teams competing in Morocco next month.
Waldrum, who led the Super Falcons to a fourth-place finish in the last edition of the competition, believes the team has enough quality to win a 10th title. He points to the talent built from the World Cup and Olympics, saying the players are “hungry to go regain the title.”Waldrum told Eagles tracker
The current Super Falcons coach, Justine Madugu, has selected 13 players from the squad Waldrum took to Morocco in 2022. Madugu, a former assistant to Waldrum, is leading the team in the upcoming tournament.
The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will feature 12 teams competing for the title in Morocco.
The Super Falcons are looking to regain their dominance in African women’s football.
