NPFL: Shooting Stars Kicks Off Preparations For New Season

Shooting Stars have kicked off their preparations for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, resuming training at the Awolowo Stadium, University of Ibadan.
The team is gearing up for the upcoming season, which is scheduled to start on August 22.
Gbenga Ogunbote, the team’s technical adviser, welcomed the players back to training and urged them to prepare for the challenges ahead.
Shooting Stars finished in eighth position last season and will look to improve their standing in the new season.
The team is currently training at the Awolowo Stadium, University of Ibadan.
The players are expected to work hard and improve their skills and teamwork in preparation for the new season.
