The Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, has expressed his vision for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja to become the home of the Super Eagles and a thriving business and entertainment arena for all Nigerians.
Dikko shared his ambitious roadmap while captaining All Stars International FC at the opening match of the All Stars International Abuja Veterans Cup 2025.
Dikko aims to reposition the National Stadium Abuja as a world-class hub for sports, entertainment, culture, innovation, and business.
The stadium is envisioned to host global events across all sports and multi-sports events like the Africa Games and Commonwealth Games.
The proposed developments include a robotics and Esports centre, shopping malls, hotels, convention centre, cultural centre arenas, and more.
Dikko was joined by the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, and the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, who likely share similar visions for the stadium’s development
