“My primary mission is to ensure that every child who is crying out there due to a lack of hope finds hope through football.”
He elaborates on his vision, stating, “My goal is to empower these children, coaches, referees, and club owners through football, and ultimately, to utilize the sport to steer youth away from crime and social issues.”
He recognizes that life at the grassroots level can be tough, but with patience and determination, one can reach their goals, as succeeding in football at this level necessitates a commitment to following the proper processes and waiting for outcomes. Nevertheless, he mentioned that patience has been a vital source of strength throughout his journey.
“One of the most significant sources of my strength has been patience. In everything we undertake, patience is essential. The right time will always arrive through dedication, and our efforts yield results, while also striving to improve upon our past achievements.”
Dr. Ozondu further stressed the importance of additional training in the field to stay updated on current trends and best practices in grassroots football development.
