Alao Urges Media To Stop Untrue Stories About United Supporters’ Club

Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, Chairman of Emiloju Football Club and stakeholder of the United Supporters’ Club in Nigeria, has called on media practitioners to stop publishing negative and false stories about the interim management committee of the United Supporters’ Club.

This appeal comes after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and National Sports Commission (NSC) intervened to unite the factionalized supporters’ clubs, leading to the signing of a memorandum of understanding under their supervision.

Alao emphasized the importance of unity among supporters’ clubs, following the efforts of the NFF and NSC to bring the groups together.

The United Supporters’ Club has appointed an interim management committee to oversee the club until substantive executives are elected.

Alao assured that the club has a mechanism for conflict resolution and urged media practitioners to stop writing untrue stories about the United Supporters’ Club.
