Cardiff City Parts Ways with Super Eagles’ Jamilu Collins

Cardiff City Football Club has confirmed the release of Nigerian defender Jamilu Collins.
The 30-year-old left-back’s contract has ended, and the club has decided not to renew it.
Collins joined Cardiff City in May 2022 and made 44 appearances for the club, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
However, he struggled with injuries and made only three league appearances in the 2024/25 season.
Collins sustained an injury in pre-season, which affected his chances of securing a spot in the starting line-up.
Despite being close to leaving in January, no suitable bid was received from other clubs.
