The chairman of Emiloju football club and stakeholder of Supporters’ clubs in Nigeria Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao has refuted claims that the United Supporters’ club lacks transparency

It would be recalled that a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was recently signed by the six NFF-recognized supporter groups,

In a statement, Alao said united supporters’ club is committed to openness and accountability

“We have not done in anything in secrecy.

“All we have been craving for is a united supporters’ club that will foster unity geared towards leading Nigerian teams to victory

“The Interim Management Committee (IMC) led by Prince Vincent Okumagba has made progress in establishing a cohesive supporters’ club.

“Our Reconciliation and Constitution Drafting Committees have commenced work

Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao urged the lovers of Nigerian sports to support unification of Supporters’ club and not to be distracted by naysayers
