Inter Milan Initiates Contract Talks With Nigerian Midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro

Inter Milan has reportedly started discussions with Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro’s agent regarding a contract extension.
Akinsanmiro joined Inter from Remo Stars in January 2023 but has only made one senior appearance for the club, coming on as a late substitute in a 4-0 win over Lecce in February 2024.
Akinsanmiro spent last season on loan at Sampdoria in Serie B, where he made 35 appearances, scoring once and providing one assist.
With Sampdoria’s relegation to tier three, it’s uncertain whether he’ll return to the Genoa side.
As Akinsanmiro’s contract with Inter expires in 2026, the club is keen to secure his future and has accelerated extension talks with his representatives.
