Getafe midfielder Uche Chrisantus was unable to join the Super Eagles in London for the Unity Cup due to personal reasons.
However, he is expected to join the squad for the friendly match against Russia on June 6th, 2025.
Chelle gave Uche his first call-up after an impressive debut season in the Spanish top division.
Signed from third-division side Cueta in the summer, Uche quickly adapted to the higher level.
In the recent season, he made 33 league appearances, scoring five goals and providing six assists, primarily playing as the main striker or just behind the main attacker.
