2025 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles To Battle Senegal For World Cup Spot

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will trade tackles with Senegal in the quarter-final of the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations,reports sportsgister.com

 

Senegal defeated Democratic Republic of Congo by two goals to nil in their final Group C game on Thursday.

 

The Cubs finished second in the group behind Black Satellites of Ghana who top the standings with seven points from same number of matches.

 

The encounter between Flying Eagles of Nigeria and Senegal will be played at Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia next Monday by 1pm Nigerian time.

 

Both countries met at the U-20 AFCON two years ago, with Senegal coming out on top 1-0.

 

The winner of the quarter-final tie will earn a spot at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
