Gov Lucky Aiyedatiwa Football Fiesta sponsored by Monday Alade foundation commenced today at the Okitipupa center in a match involving Young Boys FC and Taye FC.
Young Boys won the match by a lone goal scored by Adebayo Segun in second half.
Young Boys who dominated the first half of the match couldn’t break the deadlock owing to dogged defending from Taye FC defenders.
The breakthrough finally came in second half as Taye FC left unmarked Adebayo Segun to fire home the home goal of the game.
Kayode Ayo’s Long range shot would have doubled the lead but thanks to goaline clearance by Taye FC goalkeeper
The sponsor family head High chief Omosuyi Orilabawaye kickstarted the match.
A retired referee who is also a relative of the sponsor High chief Oyewole Fapohunda Akindele was also in attendance.
Alumagidi FC will battle Marvelous FC tomorrow in the center second game.
