Technical Adviser and head coach of Warri Wolves FC Coach Napoleon Aluma has said he dedicated the Seasiders’ today’s 0-1 victory over Ijele SC to the Delta State Government and Sports commission for their impact on the club. Coach Napoleon Aluma said that since the government of Governor Oborevwori came into office and the appointment of Honourable Onoriode as Executive Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission Warri Wolves FC has enjoyed massive support and financial backing non-stop which has made the team to excel sportwise. Dedicating the victory to the Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission the person of Honourable Onoriode Oborevwori, Coach Napo also cited the input of the Director-General of the Delta State Sports Commission who gave him the opportunity to express his coaching career once again in Warri Wolves FC after his departure many years back.

“I am honestly grateful to the executive members of the Delta State Sports Sports Commission, especially the executive Chairman of the Commission the person of Honourable Onoriode Oborevwori and the Director General of the Delta State Sports commission the person of Mr Festus Ohwojero for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to express my coaching skills and career once again in the state male football team. I am forever grateful. And to show that I personally appreciate their kind gesture towards me, I on behalf of the entire Warri Wolves FC family, officials and players hereby dedicate today 0-1 victory over Ijele SC to them all,” Coach Napo said.

Coach Napo as his is fondly called by all had previously dedicated their 1-0 win against Inter Lagos FC in Ozoro to all Warri Wolves FC fans and followers in all social media platforms of the team for their unwavering supports and prayers for the team.

His words: “We the Warri Wolves FC family won’t forget in a hurry our mammoth and teeming fans and followers worldwide worldwide especially those of our social media platforms. We are seeing and viewing your massive support and prayers for us especially the team. And honestly I must say we have been seeing the impact and effects of those prayers for us on the pitch. Your prayers for the team has no doubt brought us to where we are now and I believe it will also see us through to the promotion God willing. If you don’t know before then hear this from me today, WE LOVE YOU ALL-KEEP SUPPORTING WARRI WOLVES FC!”

In a similar vein Warri Wolves FC chairman Mr Neville Bekederemo has expressed his satisfaction and joy over today’s victory. Mr Neville who said today’s 0-1 victory over Ijele SC didn’t come to him as a shock, said it was exactly what he expected and prayed for.

His words: “Today’s 0-1 victory didn’t come to me as a shock. I expected it and prayed for it. Remember that I said the last time I spoke that if the boys (players) can carry the same morales and enthusiasm with which they played against Inter Lagos FC on Sunday into the pitch against Ijele SC they will surely replicate Sunday’s feat. And thank God that have been done already. Today’s game is done and dusted already we move on to President Federation Cup in the same spirit on Wednesday in Abuja. Honestly, I am elated and overjoyed but I must say I am proud of the players who played today-continue to score to win. And to Coach Napoleon, indeed action they say speaks louder than voice. You are actually doing your thing. It’s what only you know best. Keep it up. We are proud to have you back here. The Delta State Sports Commission and indeed all Deltans and Warri Wolves fans all over the world are seeing your work. We love you”.
