NLO:Ekiti United FC Prepare For New Season As Grouping Is Released

The Nigeria Third Tier League, NLO, has announced the grouping of teams for the upcoming season, and Ekiti United FC has been placed in Group I alongside 14 other teams. The league is set to kick off on April 11th, and Ekiti United FC is gearing up for what promises to be an exciting campaign.

The teams in Group I include Adamimogo FC from Ondo State, Wonder Xchange FC from Ondo State, Able God FC from Ondo State, Reigns FC Owo, Emalex FC Owo from Ondo State, Olukismet FC from Ekiti State, Choice FC from Ekiti State, Rolly FC from Edo State, FC Deltra, Junosa UTD FC, Big 100 FC, Living Voice FC, Bendel Insurance Feeders, and Esan Olika FC, all from Edo State.

According to the league format, the winner of each group will be drawn into 8 centers of 4 clubs each. There will be a round-robin among the 4 teams in each of the 8 groups (4 North and 4 South). The winner of the round-robin will then be promoted into the Nigeria Second Tier League, NNL.

Speaking ahead of the league’s opening match, Ekiti United FC’s Team Secretary, Mr. Boluwaji Idowu Samuel, expressed confidence in the team’s ability to challenge all opponents in the competition and emerge victorious.

“We are ready to take on all the teams in our group and come out on top,” Mr. Samuel said. “Our ultimate goal is to win the league and secure promotion to the NNL.”

Ekiti United FC’s Coach, Salawu Rotimi, also spoke about the team’s preparation for the new season. “We have been working hard to ensure that our team is well-prepared for the challenges ahead,” Coach Rotimi said. “We are confident that our players are ready to give their best and make a strong impression in the league.”
