A renowned football stakeholder in Odigbo local government Mr Bankole Blessing known as B-Blessing has urged philanthropists to emulate Alhaji Opeyemi in financing football tournament in Odigbo local government.
Mr Blessing while speaking to Sportsgister Nigeria during the final of the maiden edition of Ramadan Cup held yesterday.
He said,”I want to commend Alhaji Opeyemi for the initiative of having football tournament during Ramadan.
“I can boldly say that Opeyemi Ramadan Cup is one of the best football tournaments ever held in this local government.
B-blessing urged all other philanthropists to the train in moving football forward in Odigbo local government.
“Football development especially at the grassroot is a Herculean task because of the involvement of money.
“l want urge other philanthropists in Odigbo local government to join the train of moving football forward
