Megwo, Ijoma Clinch Abia Warriors’ Best Players’ Awards

Abia Warriors’ duo of Sunday Megwo and Anthony Ijoma have bagged the club’s latest individual awards.
Megwo won the club’s Man Of The Match MOTM award after scoring a goal yesterday when in Abia Warriors’ 2-0 win over Lobi Stars on match day 31 of the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL.
Megwo has now scored 10 NPFL goals this season third on the top scorers’ list behind Kano Pillars’ Rabiu Ali on 11 goals and leader Anas Yusuf with 14.
While Anthony Ijoma who netted the second goal yesterday has been named as the club’s February player of the month
Both Ijoma and Megwo have contributed 18 goals for Abia Warriors who pushed to third position in the NPFL standings with 50 points on a 3 game winning streak.
