Nigeria Premier football league has threatened to sanction any club media officer who fails to organize post-match conference.
NPFL in a letter to club chairmen frowned at some club media officers who deny NPFL of mandatory media content
The letter reads:
“Recall that the Nigeria Premier football League (NPFL) organized a pre-season workshop for club media officers at which they were given orientation on their duties during matches.

“One of such mandatory requirements is the organizing of Post-Match conferences with managers of the two teams and the captains or any player requested by the media
“We have however observed that this requirement is being observed in breach, thereby denying the NPFL mandatory media content.
“Going forward,it is hereby reiterated that all home clubs must ensure that the post-match conference is held and in a conducive and organized manner, preferably inside NPFL media rooms,it is mandatory under the infrastructure requirements of the club licensing regulations for all clubs to provide standard media rooms.
“Appropriate sanctions will be invoked on any club media officer that fail to abide by this regulation
