Technical Adviser of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Gbenga Ogunbote admits Sunday’s clash against Akwa United will be tough and has thus tasked his players to be ready for war.

Continental spot seeking Oluyole Warriors will aim to return to winning ways against the Promise Keepers who are battling to survive the drop.

Addressing the lads before Saturday’s light work out at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, the tactician spoke about the importance of a positive result to the team, hence the need for the players to give their best in the matchday 29 encounter.

“We are here to get things back on track. If we get the result here, we will go up again and once we do that, we are not coming down again.

“We wil be facing a team that is desperately fighting to survive relegation, so you expect that they will come out on us, using every means.

“I want you to see this match as a home natch, play as if we are playing at home.We have a good pitch to play on, we are equally hungry to get a positive result”, the Oracle as the gaffer is fondly called added.

Placed fifth going into this match against the Kennedy Boboye tutored lads, the Ibadan soccer lords must grind out a win against the 19th placed Uyo based side to return to brighten their chances of picking a continental ticket at the end of the season.
