Stephen Yakubu Adegoke on Friday emerged as the new local council football chairman of Akoko south-west local government at the age 30 years.
Adegoke has become the youngest local council football chairman to ever emerged in Ondo state.
Barely 48 hours in office,Adegoke has kickstarted work by giving balls and jerseys to all affiliated teams in Akoko-South West local government.
Already six affiliated teams have benefited from the chairman’s largesse.
Other affiliated teams will be benefit from the largesse in the next few days.
Adegoke in chat with Sportsgister Nigeria unveiled his plans for Akoko-South West local government.
“As you have been aware that l emerged as the youngest local football council in Ondo state on friday,l have started working by giving balls and jerseys to six affiliated teams in my local government already.
“l have communicated other affiliated teams in Akoko-South West to send their delegates for the largesse
“One of my plans is to make Akoko-South West pace-setter of football development in Ondo state.
“l also plan to develop other sports apart from football in local government.
“l can assure you that Akoko-South West will be a beehive of football activities in Ondo state before the next two years
